The exterior features the finest Nishijin-ori silk woven by Konkan Shoten, a venerable Kyoto artisan established in the Genroku era (late 17th century). True to its name "Soleil" (meaning "sun" in French), the case is based on soft, warm hues of bright yellow and gold. It is woven with intricate, breathtaking geometric patterns reminiscent of looking through a kaleidoscope.

The interior is lined with a soft, suede-like material that gently cushions the pen barrels, complete with dividers to prevent them from touching each other. The flap features a smooth magnetic closure, allowing you to insert and remove your treasured fountain pens gracefully and effortlessly.
