[Shipping Methods]

Shipments within Japan will be made through Yamato.

International shipments will be made through FedEx, EMS, or other shipping couriers.

(※Due to our shipping team’s operating hours, shipment will not be made on weekends and holidays.)

 

[Combining Orders]

Your credit card will be charged immediately upon placing an order.  Only under limited circumstances do we allow combining multiple orders under one shipment, and only for orders placed within 5 days of each other.  Please contact info@bungubox.shop to see if it is possible to combine the orders you have already placed.  
 
 
 
Note: We will not refund the full shipping fee for combined orders, as a service fee will be charged by the card companies for the refund.

 We accept credit card and PayPal payments.  Bank deposits are only supported for customers within Japan.

[Use of Personal Information]


Your personal information will only be used for product shipment and correspondence from BUNGUBOX.
 
BUNGUBOX is responsible for its management and we will not provide it to any 3rd party. 

 

 

[Product Returns and Exchanges]

 

Product returns will only be accepted for unused products within one week of delivery.

 

BUNGUBOX will carry the return shipping fees for any returns when there is a defect in the product shipped. 

Please note that order returns that are not due to product defects will be accepted at the cost of the customer.  

 

[About International Shipment]

All international shipping charges are the customer's responsibility.  Japanese sales tax is not included in products delivered outside of Japan. 
 
 
As the website does not know the delivery address of the customer until the end of the purchase, there may be a discrepancy between the price displayed on the product page and the price charged at checkout.  The price charged at checkout is the correct price, as the correct tax calculations are made based on the destination address.

 

Customs and duties charged by the receiving countries are the responsibilities of the customers' and will not be covered by BUNGUBOX, nor are included in the retail price.

 

Note: Remote Area Shipping Fee
Shipping fee is automatically calculated based on location; however, remote area shipping charges may be added separately before shipment.

 

Shipping rates within Japan

The following are our domestic shipping rates as of 2022.11.01.

Shipping fees will be waived for orders over 11,000 JPY (inc. tax) within Japan (excluding remote islands).

Orders will be sent via Yamato.  If you would like to specify your delivery times, please do so in the comments section of your order.  Delivery times can be chosen between the following:
・午前中
・14:00~16:00
・16:00~18:00
・18:00~20:00
・19:00~21:00

 

FAQ for International Orders

Q.How long does it usually take to ship my order

A.We aim to ship out your order within 5 days of receiving payment.  If for any reason there is a delay, we will send you an email.

 

Q. Is it possible to cancel my order?

A.  If the order has not been shipped, it is possible to cancel your order.

It is also possible to modify your order as long as you contact us before shipment.  Please understand that any modification is only possible if there is available inventory.

 

Q. Is it possible to return or exchange my order?

A. Returns and exchanges are only possible for unused products, and within one week of receipt.  The customer will be responsible for any shipping and processing fee involved in the return.  However, if you hapeen to receive a product with a defect, we will pay for any shipping and handling.  Please contact us to arrange for the shipping, and we will refund you the cost within 5 days of shipment.

Refundable defects include the following:

  • Upon openning the package, there was a clear scratch or a broken part. (Please send photo)
  • The product as received is unusable.

 

Q. Who is responsible for the loss during shipment?

A. We do not take responsibility for loss of order during shipment.  Please contact the shipping company.

 

Q. How long is your warrenty?

A. Bungubox original fountain pens carry a one year warrenty.
