"Kinka - Kotonoha" BUNGUBOX x yurie Silk Pen Roll for 6
"Kinka - Kotonoha" BUNGUBOX x yurie Silk Pen Roll for 6
On 2024/9/23 we released the Kinka-Kotonoha fountain pen.
This is the perfect pen roll for that pen!
It is such a perfect match, that we are giving it the same name:
the Kinka - Kotonoha pen roll
The base color is a soothing dark brown, but the black foil threads woven into the silk give it a unique luster, and a beautiful shine that appears when light hits it at the right angle.
The pattern is called “Yushoku Hanabishi,” a traditional pattern used since the Heian period (794-1185). The petals floating in the pattern are as if they are the “Kotonoha" themselves, the leaves of speech that cover our pages.
The inside cloth is a slightly subdued golden brown (paulownia bamboo and phoenix pattern), which is both modest and gorgeous.
The calm vermilion color of the silk wrapping cord matches the color of the Wajima-nuri balls.
It is a pen roll that is a perfect match for the autumn colors.
※Please note that the surface can appear quite glittery depending on how it reflects the light. Please enjoy the dual personality of this pen roll as we have tried to capture in these photos.
※It can hold fountain pens with thicker shafts such as the Pelikan M800 and Montblanc 146.
