The History of the Naginata Togi Nib
The Naginata Togi nib, a technique passed down since the company's founding in 1911, temporarily disappeared after World War II as mass production and mechanization took over nib manufacturing. However, the unique skill was preserved by master nib craftsmen such as Gunichi Koyama and Nobuyoshi Nagahara.

The modern Naginata Togi was revived around 1991. Inspired by a customer's request for "a fountain pen that can write even at a low angle," Nobuyoshi Nagahara refined the original grinding technique from the company's founding era, bringing the legendary Naginata Togi back to life.
