TWSBI ECO Wajima Maki-e “Jellyfish"

A mysterious, jelly-like creature known as a jellyfish is called "Kurage" (海月) in Japanese. The Chinese characters for "Kurage" (which literally means "sea moon") are used because the way these creatures drift through the sea resembles the reflection of the moon on the sea.

When we think of summer, we often think of aquariums; when we feel about aquariums, jellyfish come to mind! Just watching them can be refreshing. This time, we've adorned the ECO Clear model with a maki-e design of these floating jellyfish. The body of the pen is also decorated with countless small jellyfish swimming along. This is the perfect pen for the hot summer season.

The TWSBI ECO uses a piston filling mechanism, which allows for a large ink capacity and is well suited for long writing sessions.  The steel nibs are smooth and offer a nice writing experience.
